Antanaclasis is a specific form of repetition in which the meaning of a word or phrase changes the second time it's used. Here is an example from Ann's comment in the previous post:
I don't mean to be touchy but I can be touched by music or love, neither of which touch me physically.
Ann identified this as a paragmenon, which is a general term for repetition of any kind within a sentence. She's right, but it's also an elegant triple antanaclasis.
Anybody care to try to beat it with a quadruple?
