Very interesting, although the claim that the left side of his face "has not aged" is a bit misleading. What apparently happened is that the accident destroyed his left facial nerve, without which the skin on that side is incapable of wrinkling (it would be like getting botox to that half of the face). The skin therefore has a smooth, more youthful, appearance, but of course is still "aging."
