gail

Are they Mugwumps, do you think?

Rob B

Burroughs has my crying I'm laughing so hard.

gail

I'm so glad he dropped by. I've always liked him even if he was a poor shot.

CraigC

Ah, but Gail, that's what he wanted you to think. I see through his little plan.

CraigC

The thing that's always struck me about that is how nobody ever questions the wife's role in it. I mean, if a notorious junkie/alcoholic asked you if you wanted to play "William Tell," would you say yes? Especially if he was your husband.

Rob B

Cattle marker is like giant oil based crayons that they use to mark cattle. They are dirty cheap and sold at feed stores.

The whole thing was a rip on Aseop's fable about the "grasshopper and the ant." The grasshopper, in the fable goofs off while the ant works, so when winter comes the ant is good shape and the grasshopper is screwed. But, my take on it was that in real life, the guys outside my office window do construction all day working in the Texas heat and don't make as much as I do for one hour messing around playing freecell. In todays world the "ants" in our society bust their tails and come out with little or no retirement while the "grasshoppers" get paid insave sums to simply make decisions and let someone else work.

This is the point where I ask for contributions to the "People's workers party" that i actually us for beer money. Or at least, that's the way it worked in school.

gail

I probably would if I had been mainlining bug killer.

gail

That was in answer to Craig's question. But it probably also applies to my general willingness to contribute money to the People's Workers Party.

Rob B

I notice that it looks like when i did the ant I was channeling Zorack from Spaceghost.

CraigC

It actually looks like a comic about a rabbit, which name I can't remember, but he had a demented alter ego that looked a lot like Mr. Greenjeans there.
