Come on in and talk. Or drop off one of your random bursts of verbal energy -- poem, limerick, story, top ten list, clerihew, essay, rant, Surrealist or Dadaist poem, parody, cento, dirty joke, amusing syllepsis, dirty syllepsis, haiku, dirty haiku . . . to share.
So I'm thinking of legally changing my real name, and I'm looking for suggestions. Something that sounds cool and isn't too unwieldy. I'm leaning towards names that have a piratical sound to them, like the name of a swashbuckler or an intrepid explorer.
So far "Oliver Scott" is in the lead.
"John Deal" is in consideration
"Doc" something or other?
Maybe something with "Montgomery" in it so that I could also be called "Monty".
I just thought I'd throw that out there to see what you guys could brainstorm up.

Just to let you know, if you come up with something I end up using, I won't necessarily tell you, so I don't want anybody to have a disappointment. (I'm a cagey type of guy). I'll be changing my screen name too, eventually, to a yet to be decided pseudonym.
But I would appreciate any ideas.

Whoops, Freudian slip. I'm not running drugs out of small local airports. Honestly.

I'm roasting 1/2 of a pork shoulder, green Hatch chiles and a bunch of other goodies over pecan wood so I can make a Pork Green Chile stew tonight.
I'm so sorry, that was cruel, wasn't it? My bad. I can share pictures, at least.

You couldn't possibly improve on Robert Falcon Scott for an explorer's name. Although I think MC should change his name to Shackleton.

I've always kind of liked the last name of Archer.
