Rob. B

Because to night was such a wonderful night I wrote a little poetry

BTW, first?

Ana

We have returned from the Frozen North with a car full of presents, a baby with a deep and meaningful hatred of his carseat (24 hours in the car, imagine that), and a five-year-old with mighty blowing bowels and a stomach set on stun. Still, all of our clothes are clean and the dog didn't bite us when we walked in. That's worth something.

You're first, Rob, and I love that poem. A food poem which is also a love poem. Compact and lush at the same time. Nice.

Welcome back, Ana. You have been missed terribly. Shelleigh was calling for you, over and over. Pitiful, really.

CraigC

Yes, poor Shell. She's missed you so. Heh. Me too, btw.

Ana

It was my intention to post the warning shot so all-a-y'all wouldn't think I'd gone and taken the celestial dirt nap or fallen down the stairs or run away to Bora Bora with the Cabana Boys or eaten enough chocolate to require hospitalization--none of which, by the way, happened--but we went screaming out the door on Thursday last hot on the trail of a chiropractor and I totally flaked. For which I am sorry and should probably be shunned. But it's the season of the Merriment so perhaps there is some leeway that I overlooked?

I'M SORRY SHELL!! CALL OFF THE SEARCH PARTY!!

How is your back?

Ana

Each and every one of you was thought of with great affection and thanksgiving and admiration. Particularly as I was driving through thick fog on the way to DC and thought I'd die quite a few times because I could only see five feet ahead of me and that made me think of the people I'd miss the most and how I might haunt them most effectively. Without punctuation.

Ana

My silly back. If I'd chosen to do any situps at all in the last two years it would be quite fine. But as it stands, I've got two bulging discs and quite a few over-protective muscles. There's a lot of stretching to be done in the legs and back and buttal areas and quite a bit of strengthening to be done in the gut. After that it'll all be right as rain.

I've had a glance about and see that your foot has a diagnosis. Is it still an unholy bother?

CraigC

How's Bethesda?
