In a world of uncertainty, we can always feel secure in the knowledge that the Ramsey prosecutors still have their heads up their butts, as the Guardian reports:
Colorado prosecutors tonight dropped their case against John Mark Karr over the 1996 murder of child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey.
Prosecutors threw out the case after DNA tests failed to put Karr at the crime scene despite reports that he had confessed to killing the six-year-old girl.
At least there's one less pedophile in Thailand FWIW.
Karr lied about being the killer. He could have harmed other children, but he did not kill Jon Benet.
He may get charged with filing a false report with police, but that's about it. Let's hope further investigation in his home town leads to prosecution on real charges.

I'm sure he'll have charges out the wazoo now, but the prosecutors have egg on their faces yet again.
