Reno police arrested critical-care nurse Chaz Higgs on Friday in Hampton, Va., on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, former State Controller Kathy Augustine.

The arrest was made after police received a toxicology report from the FBI indicating the presence of succinylcholine, a powerful paralyzing drug, in her urine. The drug paralyzes muscles in the body within several minutes, including the muscles used for breathing, according to medical experts.

Police also used as evidence a phone call from a nurse who said Higgs allegedly told her on July 7 that accused Reno murder suspect Darren Mack had been "stupid" to have killed his wife the way he allegedly did, and said if he wanted to kill someone, he would use the undetectable drug succinylcholine.

TEHRAN (Reuters) - A new Iranian computer game sets players the task of blowing up a U.S. tanker in the Gulf to block the sea route for much of the world's oil supplies, a newspaper reported on Saturday.

The game, "Counter Strike," invites players to plant two bombs on the oil tanker to sink it and make the strait of Hormuz impassable, the Jomhouri-ye Eslami daily reported

Mumbai bombings connected to Pak ISI

Bangladesh . . .

Roy said the operation had the stamp of Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence and was executed with the help of Pakistan-based terrorist outfits Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

If this pans out, I expect an India-Pakistan war in the not too distant future.

Interesting footnote from Big Pharaoh on one of the reasons ordinary Muslims in other countries often get a false impression of American attitudes toward them:

George Bush said that the US is fighting "Islamic fascism". When this term gets translated, in Arabic it will mean "el Islam el fashi", or "fascist Islam" or "Islam the fascist". A huge difference between both terms.
