btw not onyl are their 820 languagases but iirc lots of em in the highlands are totly unralated to the othars asfar as anybody can tell. p.n.g. got setled quite some time ago. like 50000 years or somghing.
kiler fact! teh word for 'broken' or 'crashed' etc. etc. in neo-melanesian a.k.a. neew gunea pidgin is 'bagarap' ('buggered up').
thers more kiler facts in p.n.g. then you can shakea stick at!
