As the BBC reports, Egyptians are strangely Nordophobic:

Pollsters asked a random selection of 1,000 Egyptian adults their attitudes to different countries.

Israel was considered most hostile to Egypt, followed by Denmark, Britain and the United States - in that order.

It's true though -- you never know when you will be pelted with cheeses and chocolates by random blond people.

Actually, I don't think the Vikings were ever in the Nile Delta.

The Vikings travelled through Gibralter all the way to the Black Sea. Stopping in the Delta would certainly have been a possibility.
