Morning.
Dad update: He's much better. He has ... strange ideas at times, but he seems to be coming out of it; either the drugs or perhaps a swelling of the brain (side-effect of shock) caused him to be delusional. Yesterday he said he was superman, but other than that....
His kidney is functioning again (yea!) And, he's started physical therapy (although right now, it's hard to even lift his arms.)

Wonderful news about the kidney. Hopefully, other good things will follow.

How do you know he's not Superman?

Morning, all! Great news about your dad, Carin.

Tried to scare up some dad info at your place the other day, Carin. I'm so glad to hear that he's getting stronger. Thank goodness.

Well, he said he saved the world the other night, so perhaps he is Superman.
He seems to NOT be making up any new delusions (although the old ones - from last week -are still hanging around), so I take that as a good sign. He is still convinced that the first hospital he was at (for three weeks) was actually a MUSEUM exhibit of a hospital. The nurses were just actors.
And, he is now remembering things from day to day. And his sense of humor has returned.

And his sense of humor has returned.
Isn't that redundant?

Question for one of you smart people.. Where and when did the concept of the modern business corporation come from?
