This "Aeroform pod" home is the "subsidized urban living model," designed by Brendan O'Grady. I'm not quite sure I'm sold on the concept. There's a seventies sci-fi, dystopian feel to it. Via Trendhunter

how is a decrepit old drunk bum supposed to climb up into that thing? and do we really want them peeing onto everyone below?

I see some problems with inefficient heating, water and sewage (especially in cold wether), and you know someone will fall off!

I love this idea... Maybe not for housing bums.. but I'd sell advertising space on the side of my house.. Maybe a big Coca-Cola sign...
