We had a dead deer right by our mailbox. I wish we had found it when it was "fresh" but it was, perhaps, twelve hours old. We had no way of knowing.

Anyway, we had to drag it into the woods ourselves. And, by "ourselves" I mean my nice new neighbor who did it for me.


I think I see a rifle stock off his left hip. The barrel would be behind the deer. Even so, that's one tough way to haul a deer home.


The other picture at the link shows him from behind, and it doesn't look like he has a rifle.
