This is exactly the kind of thing Musharraf would consider to his benefit. Now he can dissolve the court (again), rewrite the constitution (again), consolidate his powers (again), and never give up his post.


If he's that short sighted, then he's a bigger fool than I would have thought. There are plenty of other excuses to impose martial law than killing the person everyone thinks you want dead.


Different forces at work, but still a strong sense of deja vu with Aquino in the Phillipines. And maybe a little ironic since both countries are facing similar problems in certain areas.
