Come on in and talk. Or drop off one of your random bursts of verbal energy -- poem, limerick, story, top ten list, clerihew, essay, alliterative poem, rant, Surrealist or or Dadaist poem, parody, cento, dirty joke, amusing syllepsis, haiku, dirty haiku . . . to share.
The snow sky is so bright here, it woke me up. It's way too early to be up!

Morning. I was off skiing up North. Got caught in a blizzard. That was fun.

It was 60 on Monday. Today looks warm but I haven't ventured out. After three months of not having grout between the tiles...behold! Grout! Stay out of the kitchen with your muddy paws and grape juice! It's not sealed yet! OUT! Ah...loving motherhood.

It's 10 degrees here. Yesterday (up North) it was something awful like minus 12. And white-out conditions. And my minivan was stuck on the mountain.

The wind here was so cold last night that it almost felt like real winter. Dreadful.

I'm gonna get beat for that, aren't I?

About the head and face.

It was -10 here last night. We're still dealing with Monday night's killer (literally) blizzard. All surrounding mountain passes 10,000' and above have been closed for days now. Not good for business...

I hope you haven't been shoveling...

Yes, I actually shoveled my driveway for 45 minutes this morning. No harm done physically cuz I took it slowly and methodically before starting my car to warm up. In the interim, the county road crew machinery had regraded the road leaving another two-foot-high banked obstacle at the base of the driveway that I had to re-shovel before being able to leave for work. Our county guys do wonderful, thankless work. So I just removed the new obstacle and got into work a bit late. My lower back may feel it tomorrow, though.
Screw Al Gore.
