Major John of Miserable Donuts is now posting from a hopefully secure location in Iraq. He has been hanging with General Petraeus and the man with the world's hardest job, as well as visiting something called a "bombardier station" (shown above). Interesting stuff from a completely honest, intelligent, and trustworthy person who actually knows what he's talking about as opposed to others one could mention in a snooty way if one so chose.
I hate those hole in the ground toilets.. I could never figure out the proper way to comfortably use them with trousers on.. Guess you have to wear a Dishdasha to appreciate them... or a Utilikilt..

Man, they don't even have the charming raised footprints.

Flatterer...
I am still at the last few days of advanced training, then down South I go. I should set up shop soon (for a little while at least, I may end up moving out and about the country).
Then it is time to order the Survival Spice and drive on.
