...though it persists in Amsterdam to this very day..

It's fascinating to me how the West rolled into Japan (and elsewhere)on their high horse and immediately set about passing judgement on their culture and morality as if we had a monopoly on all that's righteous and good.. 'Westernizing' everything in their path..

I would have loved to have traveled the world in the days before there was a McDonald's on every corner and Pam Anderson's Baywatch boobs on every tv..


Still, girls in cages...
